A compact 2000 W Metabo angle grinder for industrial grinding and cutting, built around a Marathon brushless motor for strong output and long service life.

The service-free Marathon brushless drive uses patented cooling and dust protection for a longer working life than conventional brushed motors. Tacho Constamatic (TC) electronics help maintain speed under load for faster progress on tough materials. Disc changes are tool-free via the Metabo M-Quick System, and the twist-proof guard adjusts without tools.

Operator comfort and safety are front of mind: Metabo VibraTech (MVT) side handle, an integrated auto-balancer to cut hand-arm vibration and extend both tool and disc life, a paddle switch with dead-man function, plus fast brake, anti-kickback, overload protection, soft start, and restart protection. The gear housing rotates in 90° steps for left-handed use or cutting, a detachable dust filter shields the motor from coarse debris, and a steel carabiner ring supports fall protection when working at height. A cable-replacement cover keeps servicing straightforward.
