We're looking for a creative storyteller to bring our brand to life through Reels, TikToks, customer testimonials, and job-site content across our store locations.

A Class Building Materials is on the hunt for a creative, camera-confident Marketing Content Creator to bring our brand to life — based primarily at our Ravenhall store. You'll be the storyteller behind our social presence, capturing everything from in-store moments to real landscaping and fencing projects in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, film, edit, and publish multimedia content (videos, images, reels, audio) across social media platforms.
  • Film and produce customer testimonials and project showcases.
  • Drive audience growth, engagement, and reach through trend-led content strategy.
  • Write and manage social media copy, and lead content ideation.
  • Monitor content performance and provide optimisation insights.
  • Travel between store locations and job sites to film landscaping and fencing work.
  • Provide support to the sales team as needed.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Experience in Australian hardware or trade retail is highly regarded.
  • Proven ability to grow a social media audience — not just post content.
  • Native fluency with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Demonstrated portfolio of short-form video content (Reels, TikToks).
  • Experience with Canva, CapCut, or in-app editors; Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Comfortable in front of and behind the camera.
  • Trend-aware and AI-savvy.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Current driver's licence; own vehicle preferred (fuel expenses covered).
  • Full working rights in Australia.
  • Willingness to undergo a police check.

Key Responsibilities

Shifts Available

  • Morning Shift: 7am – 2:00pm
  • Day Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Key Duties

  • High reach forklift operation (primary focus)
  • Tugger operating and case picking
  • RF scanning – picking, packing, and inventory tracking
  • Put-away and stock replenishment in pick bays
  • Loading, unloading containers, and receipting orders
  • Pallet stacking, wrapping, and strapping
  • Receiving inwards/outwards goods and creating con notes in SAP
  • Manual handling up to 20–25 kg
  • Follow all SOPs and maintain a clean, organised work area

What You'll Need

  • LF Forklift Licence with minimum 2 years' high reach experience
  • Tugger operating / case picking experience
  • Strong warehousing background with consistent work history
  • Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • RF scanner experience essential
  • Physically fit and able to sustain manual tasks across a full shift
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
  • Must be willing to complete a pre-employment D&A and functional capacity test

You'll own the day-to-day operation from receiving through to dispatch, while driving safety, performance, and team culture.

Leadership & Operations

  • Overseeing end-to-end warehouse operations across receiving, pick, pack, and dispatch
  • Leading daily pre-starts, shift handovers, and operational briefings
  • Coaching and developing team members to lift performance and engagement
  • Monitoring KPIs, productivity, and workflow to remove bottlenecks
  • Managing real-time issues — delays, equipment, priority changes
  • Ensuring full compliance with WHS, Chain of Responsibility, and site procedures
  • Overseeing dangerous goods storage and handling requirements

Warehouse Operations

  • Participating in daily warehouse operations alongside the team when needed
  • Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately and on time
  • Loading and unloading inbound and outbound freight

Inventory Management

  • Maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring all transactions are completed promptly in ERP
  • Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies
  • Preparing packing lists and shipping documentation

Customer Service & Communication

  • Maintaining a customer-focused approach across all warehouse activities
  • Working closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to meet customer expectations
  • Communicating proactively on stock availability, order priorities, and operational issues
