CRC Etch It is a single pack etch primer with excellent adhesion to bare metal. It is formulated for etching and key-coating bare aluminium, stainless steel, brass, copper and galvanised metal surfaces and forms a tenacious key coat to provide adhesion for a paint system.

Applications

• Shake can until agitator ball is moving freely and then for at least 1 further minute to ensure content is thoroughly mixed. Apply one thin coat with smooth even strokes to clean, dry surface holding can approximately 25cm from surface. When finished spraying, clean valve by turning can upside down and pressing button until only pressure escapes.

CRC Prep It is a single pack high build easy-sanding metal primer with a grey finish. Formulated with anti-corrosive zinc complexes, it outlasts most high build primers by inhibiting corrosion and forms a quick-drying protective coating with excellent adhesion to bare metal. CRC Prep It is ideal as a general purpose primer and filler coat over bare metal or as an intermediate coat over CRC Zinc It, Prime It, Rust Converter or Etch It or to facilitate high build and prepare surface prior to finish coating. It can be applied directly over CRC polyester automotive fillers.

CRC Prime It Red Oxide Primer is a single pack penetrating shop primer with a red-oxide finish and high levels of anti-corrosive zinc complexes. It forms a durable protective coating on steel with excellent anti-corrosive properties. It is formulated for the protection of structural steel and iron and can be applied over clean or lightly rusted surfaces. It does not require immediate overcoating, but can be overcoated at a later stage if desired. Ongoing protection can be achieved through overcoating or simple recoating with CRC Prime It Red Oxide Primer after 3 years, depending on conditions. Protection in extreme conditions may require re-application more frequently.
