Unique and stylish finish for your fencing, screening and cladding with steel substructures.

Advantages

  • Carbon steel screw with Delta®-Seal coating for better corrosion protection
  • Suitable for fencing
  • Not suitable for use around pools, close to the waterline, or in aggressive environments or areas with extreme UV exposure (for those applications, consider our stainless 316/bimetal screws)
  • The self-drilling tip makes installation quick and easy
  • Small head diameter ensures the head can sink in cleanly and easily
  • Timber is protected from tearing or splitting by the drill tip
  • Smooth head for a perfect finish — no need to sand timber after installation
  • Available in silver, brown and black finishes

Functioning

  • SIT® drive (TX compatible) — Optimum torque transmission, a tight and snug fit, and fast centering.
  • High-efficiency thread — Anti-friction coating reduces drive-in torque.
  • Aggressive drilling tip with wings — Cuts a clearance hole for timber and through the steel frame. Quick, easy and safe work without pre-drilling for steel thickness 1.25–3.0 mm.
  • Delta®-Seal coating — High corrosion and weather resistance, increased fracture torque, and suitable for outdoor use where stainless steel is not required.

Not suitable for use around pools, close to the waterline, or in aggressive environments or areas with extreme UV exposure. For those applications, consider our stainless 316/bimetal screws.

Instructions for Use

  • Drive in the fastener at high to maximum speed using a cordless or electric drill.
  • As soon as you hit the metal substructure, reduce speed and increase the pressure slightly.
  • Do not overdrive — stop as soon as the screw head is level with the surface.
  • Only use a drill driver (cordless or corded). Do not use an impact driver.

Applications

  • Fencing

Building Materials

  • Merbau
  • Spotted Gum
  • Blackbutt
  • Tallowwood
  • Stringybark
  • Karri
  • Sydney Bluegum
  • Jarrah
  • Ironbark
  • Tasmanian Oak
  • Victorian Ash
  • Grey Box
  • Oak

Tip

Protection: Harsh chemical cleaners for timber may damage the screw surface. Please wash any residue off immediately for longer enjoyment.

Note: Delta®-Seal coating is not suitable for areas subject to sea water, salt-chlorinated pools, harsh or aggressive environments (including cleaners), or extreme UV exposure. For these applications, please see our 316 stainless steel alternative.
