Corinthian Moda White Oak AMOD 6G White Oak Veneer Translucent

AMOD 6G is a stile-and-rail interior door in Corinthian’s Moda White Oak collection. The veneer is White Oak, supplied raw, and it can be stained or painted. Corinthian pairs the collection with the Blonde Oak entrance doors.

Key features

• Stile-and-rail joinery with square fitting rails.

• Glazing: Translucent.
• Optional hardware kits, in satin chrome or matte black, are passage, privacy, or dummy, and include three radius hinges.
• Custom sizes can be made up to 2400 x 1200 x 35 mm. Every Moda White Oak door is made to order and can be cancelled only on the day it is ordered.
• Published acoustic rating for this glazed design: Rw 32 / STC 32.

Finishing and care

Up to 5 mm can be trimmed from the top, the bottom, and each stile. Three hinges are recommended, and they are the minimum for these stile-and-rail doors. Store the door flat, off the floor, in a dry covered area. Finish it before it is hung, including the top and bottom edges and the edges behind the hardware. Corinthian’s care guide asks for two coats of paint or sealer on both faces and all edges. A stain needs a sealer, because stain alone does not protect the timber. Sand a veneer lightly, no more than 0.2 mm, with paper no coarser than 240 grit, in the direction of the grain. Do not use steel wool. Warranty is 5 years when the care and installation advice is followed.
