This Metabo 230 mm (9") angle grinder is built for heavy cutting and grinding with a focus on durability, control, and operator safety.

The Marathon motor uses patented dust protection for a longer service life under demanding site conditions. A deadman’s switch and Metabo safety switch help reduce the risk of unintended start-up, while auto-stop carbon brushes shut the motor down before brush wear can cause damage.

For comfort and control, the rotating rear handle and side handle can be fitted in three positions, including when cutting. Metabo VibraTech (MVT) damping in the tool and side handle helps lower vibration exposure, and the twist-proof guard adjusts without tools.
