J-B Weld Original Cold Weld is a steel-reinforced two-part epoxy for high-strength bonding and gap filling. The carded pack holds two tubes (28.4 g each). Mix equal parts, then apply. After it cures to a dark grey, the bond can be shaped, tapped, filed, sanded, drilled and painted.

- Paste consistency for filling gaps and cracks, as well as bonding parts.
- 1:1 mix ratio. Sets in 4–6 hours at room temperature. Full cure in 15–24 hours.
- Heat resistance to 287°C (550°F) once fully cured.
- Fuel resistant.
- Suited to high-strength repairs and craft work on metal and other hard surfaces.
Suitable surfaces
- Best on metal, stone, concrete and fibreglass.
- Also bonds rigid plastic, wood and ceramic.
- Not for polypropylene or polyethylene.

Surface preparation
Clean the repair area with detergent or a degreaser, then roughen it with a file or coarse sandpaper. Dispense equal amounts from each tube, mix until the colour is even, and apply.
