DECO 8S is a primed interior door in Corinthian's Deco collection. The collection uses the geometric patterns of the Art Deco movement, with deep-cut routing. The skins are primed MDF, not Deco White Oak veneer.
Key features
- Premium primed MDF skins. No glazing.
- In NSW, VIC, and QLD the collection is sold with a honeycomb or Ultima core. This VIC row stays honeycomb.
- Square-bottom rout on both faces, about 4 mm wide and 3 mm deep. The deep-cut routing pattern is this design's own pattern.
- Honeycomb core on this design is rated Rw 26 (STC 25).
- Passage, privacy, and dummy kits come in satin chrome or matte black, and each kit includes three radius hinges.
- If these doors will be installed as a pair, nominate that when ordering. A pair is an installation note.
- Every Deco door is made to order and can be cancelled only on the day it is ordered. Custom sizes are made to order.
Finishing and care
The door is supplied raw. Up to 5 mm can be trimmed from the top, the bottom, and each stile. Primed skins are for paint. The collection names matte, semi-gloss, and full gloss. The specification also allows gloss, flat, semi-gloss, or satin on the door surfaces. The primed skin does not include the routing or the door edges. Three hinges are recommended. They are a minimum for a medium-to-high density core and for 2340 mm doors. This leaf is 2040 x 520 mm, so that figure is not copied onto this size. Warranty is 5 years when Corinthian's terms are met.
